Having beaten Predators at home earlier in the season, Crossover Basketball continued the principle of giving opportunities and challenge to all, by handing two more players their debuts in this Griffins match at Nuneaton.
Positives were that the third quarter was won by the Griffins, and that six different players got on the score sheet, including both debutants.
It was acknowledged that what ended as a ten point defeat could have been a win had Crossover’s strongest players all been selected – however in building a sport for life, the bigger picture was prioritised, with valuable lessons and contributions made by all players.
